Tabs for Kids
Shriners Hospital in Tampa collects aluminum can tabs and turns them in at a local recycling plant for money. Children up to age 18 are eligible for care at Shriners Hospital for Children, if, in the opinion of their physician, there is a reasonable possibility they can benefit from the specialized services available. Acceptance is based soley on a child’s medical need. A family’s income or insurance data are not criteria for a child’s acceptance as a patient.

Lowry PTA recycles aluminum cans, and the tabs are donated to the Shriners Hospital for Children. They can be dropped off in the car line or in the front office.
